Coordinate and lead the National Response to HIV and AIDS to reduce the risk, vulnerability, and impact of the HIV epidemic for the future of the country and humanity, through the effective formulation and implementation of policies, multisectoral strategies, plans, and programs, supported by the co-managed and inclusive participation of the various sectors and actors of Dominican society, in a sustained, concerted, and organized manner at the national level.
